Chris has extensive experience of writing for regional and national newspapers and magazines,
as well as designing news pages and designing for the web and print.
In his spare time he paints contemporary portraits and has sold work all around the globe.

Chris has turned his newspaper layout skills to the web, to create crisp and modern designs using the latest CSS and XHTML techniques.
Although specialising in the graphic design side of web development, Chris also knows how to code database-driven websites using technologies such as asp.net and PHP.
He uses Dreamweaver and the Adobe Design Suite to create sites for small businesses and has worked on several freelance projects.

Chris has been commissioned to produce business stationary and printed materials for several small businesses.
As part of his web design service, Chris always offers clients the option for a complete corporate rebrand, including
logo design and a revamp of all company literature.

Chris is assistant head of production for Staffordshire Sentinel News and Media, helping produce regional daily newspaper The Stoke Sentinel as well as several weekly newspapers, freesheets and supplements.
Chris has also worked in various design roles for regional titles with Trinty Mirror and has experience of working on national production desks.

Chris is a regular freelance football correspondant for several national daily and Sunday newspapers including the Daily Mirror, the Sun, the Daily Mail and the Sunday Express.
He also has experience of news and sports reporting for regional weeklies and has edited a regional golf newspaper.
He has been a staff writer
for a national video games magazine, a news sub-editor and can turn his hand to hard news, features, travel writing and book, movie, games and music reviews.

In 2004, Chris took his modern portrait-painting hobby online and launched
www.on-canvas.co.uk.
Since then he has had a painting auctioned by Cherie Booth in aid of children's charirt Barnardo's, and sold paintings to sports and television stars and to people all around the world.
