Chris has extensive experience of writing for regional and national newspapers and magazines,
designing news pages and designing for the web and print.
In his spare time he paints contemporary portraits and has sold work all around the globe.

Chris has turned his newspaper layout skills to the web, to create crisp and modern designs using the latest CSS and XHTML techniques.
Although specialising in the graphic design side of web development, Chris also knows how to code database-driven websites using technologies such as asp.net and PHP.
He uses Dreamweaver and the Adobe Design Suite to create sites for small businesses and has worked on several freelance projects.

Chris has been commissioned to produce business stationary and printed materials for several small businesses.
As part of his web design service, Chris always offers clients the option for a complete corporate rebrand, including
logo design and a revamp of all company literature.

Chris is a full-time page design sub-editor on the sports desk at Trinity Mirror's Chester Chronicle series of weekly newspapers.
He is part of an award-winning three-man production team that works with several sports editors to put together all the sports pages for 12 weekly regional newspapers.
The team is recognised for producing some of the finest sports pages in the regional weekly market.

Chris is a regular freelance football correspondant for several national daily and Sunday newspapers including the Daily Mirror, the Sun, the Daily Mail and the Sunday Express.
He also has experience of news and sports reporting for regional weeklies and has edited a regional golf newspaper.
He has been a staff writer
for a national video games magazine, a news sub-editor and can turn his hand to hard news, features, travel writing and book, movie, games and music reviews.

Chris turned a hobby into a business in 2004 when he launched
www.on-canvas.co.uk - a modern portrait painting service.
Since then he has had a painting auctioned by Cherie Booth, had his work signed by the likes of David Beckham and sold paintings to sports and television stars
and to people all around the world.
